AnyoneButNats is an independent, not-for-profit campaigning group that is registered by the NSW Electoral Commission as a ‘Registered Third Party’. We seek to empower regional Australians to change their usual preference of returning Nats in state and federal seats and to also provide a non-judgemental platform to enable them to voice their opinion freely on important issues. We are not affiliated with or receive any political party or government funding. Our campaigns are sustained entirely through voluntary donations and we comply with NSW laws concerning the conduct of elections including disclosure of donations in accordance with the law and provisions about timely declaration. Anyone But Nats believes that the voice of regional people in NSW needs to be heard loud and clear once again. Our primary role as a ‘registered third party’ is to convince a majority of people in each regional electorate to ‘put the Nats last’ and thus turn our electorates into swinging seats that all political parties and alliances respect. Our belief is, that the Nats are wholly beholden to big mining, big business, and the Liberals. Because we are no longer important to the Nats, we all miss out. Many thousands of people across regional NSW are deeply disappointed in the Nats, particularly the elected representatives, who have become arrogant in the way they neglect, reject, ignore and overlook us. It is time for a big change in regional NSW. We believe that change begins and ends at the ballot box in March 2019. In regional NSW, we don’t have a choice but to become ‘political’ at least once. It’s time to choose – it’s time to choose by putting the Nats last on your ballot paper. When we choose clean air, clean water, and clean energy, and we demand that our communities and towns have their fair share of the State’s funding, we shall end up with properly resourced schools, hospitals, TAFEs, roads, and infrastructure. When we stop the Nats siding with the Liberals to sell off vital state infrastructure, we regain the importance that regional people once had. Anyone But Nats is focused on having voters putting the Nats last in their votes in the March 22 2019 State election. We say, ‘its OK to say NO to the Nats, and put them last.’ Anyone But Nats is registered with the NSW Electoral Commission as a ‘third party organisation’. Anyone But Nats is not affiliated with, or nor do we endorse, any political party or candidates running for office in the NSW state election in March 2019.
